What is a Sensitive/Irritable Scalp?
Scalp sensitivity tends to be a symptom associated with other scalp conditions such as rashes, sunburn, insect bites, head lice, psoriasis e.t.c. The condition can present itself in the form of redness, itchiness, tingling or even numbness. These symptoms can be present without being associated with other scalp conditions and can easily be treated either way.

How to Treat Sensitivity
We offer a Scalp Detox treatment for £5.45 where the scalp is detoxified to gently soothe the scalp and prepare it for the next stage of treatment. The scalp and hair are then cleansed with a natural desensitizing shampoo to keep the scalp calm, clean, healthy and reduce future irritation.
We recommend using our desensitizing shampoo at home to keep the scalp calm and maintain a nice, healthy scalp. We do not recommend the use of commercial shampoos that supposedly offer the same result; these are too aggressive on the scalp and only strip the scalp without treating it.
Good hair conditions must never forget the scalp. Looking after it is the best way to prevent the discomforts such as hypersensitivity, reddening and bothersome peeling that make treatments difficult to apply, and especially weaken cellular defenses, threatening hair health.
